Trampoline in Paris
Instead of crossing bridges by walking or by riding a car, why can’t we bounce or flip our way across instead? This is what architecture firm AZC had in mind when they submitted a proposal to build an inflatable trampoline bridge for pedestrians to cross the Seine. The structure involves three inflatable doughnut-like rings with mesh trampolines stretched across each one, allowing pedestrians to bounce their way to the other side of the river. It also provides people two options upon reaching the end of the bridge: to exit by way of a staircase or by way of a slide.

Emerald Chasm, Washington, USA
Emerald Ridge the reason for its name—the wildflowers and grasses make this high alpine meadow a vision in green and offer visitors a wonderful packs-off opportunity to sit and take it all in. Aster, harebell and western anemone thrive in the volcanic earth, while the odd view of The Mountain from this angle makes it seem decrepit, fragile and ancient.

Shi Shi Beach, Washington State. USA
It's time to hike to wild Shi Shi Beach, perhaps the most dramatic beach in Washington State, located west of Neah Bay, Wash., on SR 112, which has been designated as one of America's Scenic Byways. Like a scene out of The Land Time Forgot, Shi Shi Beach has remained untainted by large crowds, and untamed by humans.
One reason for that unspoiled beauty is that it is only reached by a drive 66 miles from Port Angeles, Wash., through Clallam Bay-Sekui and on through Neah Bay, followed by a 3.3-mile hike.
Named "best nature beach" by the Travel Channel, the beach became part of the National Park in 1976. The Makah Tribe, whose reservation borders the Shi Shi to the Ozette River Beaches.
